Our sightseeing tour begins in the charming hillside old town of Albaicín with its magnificent views of the lower town and the ALHAMRARA Alhambra. We will also pass the 13th century caravanserai and the Arabic bazaar and visit the city’s magnificent Catedral and the Generalif.
Day 4: After breakfast optional excursion to Gibraltar and Ronda(350km)
In Gibraltar: excursion to the “Rock” under British control
The spectacular motorway of the Costa Del Sol (Sunny Coast) runs westwards alongside elegant resort villages, luxury residential complexes and golf courses.
On arrival in Gibraltar, we transfer to local minibuses which take us on a one and a half hour excursion to the most interesting places on the peninsula. From Gibraltar you can see the coast of Africa in good weather. We visit the St. Michael’s stalactite cave and meet the famous inhabitants of Gibraltar, the monkeys. On the way back we visit the most beautiful town in Andalusia, Rondá, built on two sides of a 200m deep vertical wall gorge carved out by the Guadalevin river, over which an 18th century bridge crosses. The old town is a fine example of the white villages of Andalusia, with alleyways that seem to have stood still for centuries. The Catholic Church is also a reminder of the Moorish period. A short stop on the coast takes you to the marina of Marbella, the most elegant resort on the Costa Del Sol and a meeting point for Spanish and European celebrities.
Day 5: After breakfast travel to Seville (440km)
This day is dedicated to exploring Spain’s most colourful and hottest city. Our city sightseeing program includes the Cathedral, which is the largest Roman Catholic Church in Europe, including La Giralda Minaret.
Alcasar: The next stop is the Moorish fortress, still a beautiful palace complex in good condition with a huge park, courtyard, promenades, orange and palm trees.
Then we tour the narrow streets of the Santa Cruz district, a fabulously beautiful old town.
The Plaza de Espana is a beautiful complex of buildings that say farewell to Seville, now home to government offices.
Day 6: After breakfast departure to Cordoba (360km)
Sightseeing in Cordoba, a Unesco World Heritage Site.
In 2016, the city hosted the European Capital of Culture event.
It was inhabited by Moors, Arabs and was the 3rd largest city in Europe, with a beautiful location surrounded by a crown of mountains. In Andalusia, it is the city that has best preserved the atmosphere of the Arab period
The city’s alleyways make you feel like you’re in Africa.
The main attraction is the Mesquita, which has a unique red and white vaulted ceiling with a Christian church in the middle.
In the Jewish quarter you can visit the Synagogue.
Day 7: After breakfast, free program bathing, then departure to the airport, arrival in the evening.
