London, the city of kings

Day 1: After regular arrival, the group will arrive at the hotel by public transport. Getting to know London with a tour guide.

Our first activity is viewing the Changing of the Guard outside Busckingham Palace, the most frequented area around the Parliament, where the House of Lords meets. From here it is only a short walk to Trafalgar Square, the scene of all major events and demonstrations. The neighbouring Piccadilly Circus is the heart of the city, the most famous meeting place in the world. After our walk, we will take public transport.

The next attraction is the Tower building which has been both a royal palace and a prison over the centuries. One of the oldest monuments in the world, it houses the Crown jewels and is not to be missed. We spend 2.5-3 hours in the Tower Castle.

Afterwards, our walk takes us to a pub in the Soho district. It’s worth spending the evening here with a famous English beer (dinner is available in the pub).

2-3. day: Program at Wembley arena.

Optional evening activities: cinema and theatre in Piccadilly or Haymarket.

Theater performance options: Mamma Mia, Mary Poppins, The Lion Kings, Dirty Dancing

Another optional activity: seeing the city in the evening illumination from the top of the London Eye, built for the Millennium.

Day 4: Continuation of sightseeing: trip to Windsor to visit the summer residence of the Kings and the Queen. Here, in a darkened room, you will find a miniature replica of the royal castle, the souvenirs of the toys given to the current reigning members of the family by the recently deceased Queen and Princess Margaret, the wedding photographs and an exhibition of members of the royal family. Afterwards, a tour of the suites of the royal residence, which are open to the public. On a visit to London, Windsor Castle is a must-see attraction.

Afternoon programme: an interesting railway ride takes you through the ultra-modern Dockland district to Greenwich, where the meridian dividing our land east and west is drawn at the Royal Railway Station, and where British units of measurement are also certified.

Shopping, free activities, the Greenwich flea market has lots of interesting things to offer. In the evening, stroll along the illuminated Oxford Street, one of the city’s main attractions.

Say goodbye to London.
