4 days / 3 nights in Italy
During a 4-day trip, we can get a glimpse of the architectural culture of Northern Italy.
Main attractions: Venice-Padua-Verona.
In addition, swimming is possible in Jesolo in the summer. Italy is definitely one of the most pleasant travel destinations in the world, not only for European people. Due to its pleasant climate, many people choose it as a destination every year. In addition to its weather suitable for sunbathing and crystal-clear beaches, it has many other attractions. These include Venice, Verona and Padua.
Travel: By plane or MAV scheduled flight between Budapest-Venice Santa Lucia railway station.
Accommodation: 3 nights in a hybrid hotel/hostel in the suburb of Venice-Menstre.
Substantial and very tasty buffet breakfast in multi-bed rooms, for companions in double rooms.
Day 1: Departure from Budapest to Venice in the morning
Arrival in the afternoon, accommodation in the Venice-Menstre hybrid hostel. Accommodation in multi-bed multiplex rooms, for companions in twin rooms.
It is possible to take a walk in Venice in the evening – approx. 10 minutes by train to Venice Santa Lucia railway station.
Day 2: After breakfast, we travel to Venice by train. Sightseeing walk in Venice. Saint Mark’s Square, Doge’s Palace (entry optional) Saint Mark’s Cathedral.
After that, free program. In the afternoon, sailing to Murano (visiting a glass factory). Sailing to Burano (island of lace). In the evening, travel to the accommodation by train.
Day 3: After breakfast, departure to the train station. Travel by train to Verona and then to Padua.
In Verona (seeing Arena, Piazza di Erbe, Piazza dei Signori, Scala tombs and Juliet’s house)
In Padua (visiting Prato di Valle Square, St. Anthony’s Basilica, University of Padua district)
Return to Venice-Mestre in the evening.
Day 4: Free program after breakfast.
Christmas program: Advent fair in Verona and Lake Garda.
Travel to Budapest by train in the afternoon.
