Day 1: Early morning departure: Budapest – Győr – Vienna. Arrival in Vienna at noon , sightseeing tour by bus on the RING, then we continue our exploration of the imperial city on foot. Statue of Maria Theresa, the Opera House, Stefansdom, Hofburg, the Parliament, City Hall. In the afternoon excursion to Schönbrunn, after visiting the castle there is some free time. During the Advent period, visiting the Xmas fair in the castle park.
Day 2: After breakfast departure for MELK, visit to Melk Abbey. World famous for its Baroque-style abbey library and marble hall decorated with frescoes by Paul Torgers. Worth a visit is the domed abbey church, and the abbey museum. Continue to Mariazell, sightseeing tour of the important sights. The Basilica, the Chapel of the Holy Spring, with its water which is said to work wonders on eye diseases. During the Advent period, it is worth tasting the gingerbread and the delicious gastronomy of 33 different herbs, which have been made for centuries. Departure late in the afternoon, arrival in Budapest in the evening.
