Day 1: Travel from the nearest international airport. Arrival in Edinburgh, transfer to families
Day 2: Sightseeing in Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, Venice of the North, Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, St. Giles Cathedral, Royal Scottish Museum. Travel by sightseeing bus.
Day 3: Continue sightseeing in Edinburgh: Holyrood Palace and Scottish Parliament, visiting Royal Yacht Britannia, free time at Ocean Terminal and travel by sightseeing bus.
Day 4: Continue sightseeing in Edinburgh, with Scotch Whisky Centre, Camera Obscura, National Portrait and National Gallery, Modern Art Gallery, Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh Dungeon, John Knox Museum, and Childhood Museum, Deep Sea World
Day 5: Early morning excursion to Inverness near the lake Loch Ness. Stop en route at the stately Blaire Castle. A lakeside walk to Urquhart castle, which is the headquarters of researchers, an optional cruise on the lake.
Day 6: Travel to Stirling by train or bus if possible, free time in Edinburgh in the afternoon.
Day 7: Optional excursion to a castle in Scotland (Glamis Castle or Scone Palace)
Day 8: Departure home from the nearby international airport.
